The Care Bag

The Care Bag is made from the body and energy of the piece "She that turns monsters into allies" by the artist Gema Polanco, which has been a stage of possibility, metamorphosis and resistance.
In Polanco's work, and especially in recent years, she has been creating safe spaces to heal, to shake the body with strength, to rest, to mutate, to transcend and to be true to oneself.
A place to face monsters and turn them into allies.

Each bag is handmade with care with a part of the piece "She that turns monsters into allies" making each one unique, protagonist and part of a limited edition of 150 units being each one different from the others.
This piece is a cocktail of spells made by the artist with ingredients such as: the vulnerability, power and contradiction of her work, materials acquired from artisans in the artist's neighbourhood and a lot of time, love and dedication.

The Care Bag (El bolso del cuidado) está hecho a partir del cuerpo y la energía de la pieza "She that turns monsters into allies" de la artista Gema Polanco que ha sido un escenario de posibilidad, metamorfosis y resistencia.
En el trabajo de Polanco y especialmente en los últimos años ha ido creando espacios seguros para sanar, para sacudir el cuerpo con fuerza, para descansar, para mutar, para trascender y para ser fiel a uno mismo.
Un lugar donde enfrentarse a los monstruos y convertirlos en aliados.

Cada bolso está hecho a mano con mimo con una parte de la pieza ""She that turns monsters into allies" (La que se enfrenta a monstruos y los convierte en aliados) haciendo que cada una sea única, protagonista y parte de una edición limitada de 150 unidades siendo cada una diferente de las demás.
Esta pieza es un cóctel de hechizos hecha por la artista con ingredientes tales como: la vulnerabilidad, el poder y la contradicción de su obra, materiales adquiridos a artesanos del barrio de la artista y mucho tiempo, amor y dedicación.
